Everyone has a different journey in life. Each of those journeys are made of up several paths too. Through my life, I have found that all my paths have all ended up with the same destination though. Regardless of where they take me, or how long I am on them, they are all designed for me and my self discovery.
Hopefully, I have taken the memories, both good and bad, from each of these paths to become better. And a better me is the only real destination I can truly ask for.
Trail riding has given me a great appreciation for nature and life. It is also when I am at peace and find myself in deep thought or praying to God. To me, this shot is symbolic for my personal journey through life.
Driving has given me countless hours of views across our great nation. As I have driven to military duty, photography assignments and family visits, being on the road has taught me patience and appreciation. (It is also a time when my kids are the most chatty!) To me, this shot is symbolic for my professional journey through life.
I have always believed in God. Unfortunately, I have not always been a good example for Him though. But, I continue to try. For me, this shot is symbolic for my spiritual journey in life.
In response to Sunday Stills’ challenge on long and winding roads. After posting this though, I realized this is also appropriate for Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge. So, this is a double challenge whammy post.
